NOCTILUCA is an independent pelagic art station at the edge of the Iceland Basin. The programme pairs radical studio practice with deep-ocean science, hydroacoustic listening and bioluminescence research.

The Halo
360° optically corrected observation glass. Every night, the ocean writes its own moving image.
Listening keel
A hydrophone array that turns tectonic movement and cetacean passage into spatial audio.

A shared table, a dark library and one rule: no transmitted signal after midnight.
